National Ethernet is a layer-2 service that can be accessed through more than 190 POPs and 15 MANs across the UK. Available in point-to point or point-to multi-point configurations, with committed bandwidths ranging from 2Mbps though to 1Gbps, the service is ideal for access, backhaul and network extension.

THUS MPLS IP VPN is a private wide area networking service that enables inter-site communications between premises over THUS’, next-generation network (NGN). It allows service providers to create secure virtual private networks, and supports the transport of data, voice, and video traffic between customer sites and their own data centres.

Traffic types can be prioritised to ensure that a lower priority activity, such as sending an email, can take place without disrupting mission-critical traffic, such as an IP phone call. The service can optionally support advanced features such as Multicasting or secured Internet access from the MPLS IP VPN.

There are a wide range of access options for THUS MPLS IP VPN, from Private Access Broadband (PAB), through leased lines to Managed Ethernet at up to 1Gbps. Bandwidth is scalable, so customers only need to pay for the bandwidth they use, and can be increased quickly and easily upon request. MPLS IP VPN also optionally supports IP Exchange Lines, offering a complete communications solution.
